In the past, the Czech Republic and Slovakia were one country. This part of their history can still be seen in a number of places. For example, the city of Partizánske, which lies at the confluence of the Nitra and Nitrice Rivers was established before World War II by the czech businessman Tomáš Baťa. First the village called Baťovany was established and later was recognized as a city. In 1949 the city was renamed to Partizánske.

Before my stay, I was really afraid of a different dialysis center, doctors, nurses, but there was no reason to be. They had all the information in my medical report and everything went just fine.
