Kutno is a town situated in central Poland, in Łódź Province, on the river Ochnia. The town was established in XIV century. It offers a lot of tourist attractions and monuments.
Kutno may be proud of its attractive old town, where its inhabitants gladly walk and relax. Interesting monuments may be seen there. Restored Classicistic Town Hall, currently housing the office of Regional Museum, where one can view relics and documents presenting the town’s history, stands out among the other monuments as exceptionally beautiful.
Besides, we recommend visiting:
The Palace complex Gierałty in the Spring of Nations Park (Park Wiosny Ludów), which was the former residence of the town’s owners, built in the years 1775 - 1791 in Rococo style.
Museum of Interior Decorations in Oporów (14 km from Kutno) – Gothic castle built in the years 1434 - 1449. The building is located on an artificially heaped up island surrounded by moat. The majority of the décor comes from Baroque period. Rich collection of paintings, military and porcelain was gathered there.

I went for a dialysis vacation by the Orava dam in Námestovo. The medical facilities were first-rate, including the personnel, who were very friendly and pleasant. I was quite pleased with the manner I was received, the service, and the recreation in general, which I would gladly recommend to all dialysis patients.
