Siófok has been a spa since 1863. The village was first prettified in the spring 1866. The Siófok gardens and the development of tourism at the village have been closely interrelated all the time. After 1891, in addition to building two large hotels, a 700-meter long alley was established decorated with planes. A methodical building of parks and alleys started. Ever since 1928, the decoration of squares and streets has been carefully designed, so the town planning at Siófok has been combined with the design of gardens.
After the fall of communism, the renewal of old parks and the establishment of new parks and floral areas has been in the focus at the resort frequented by both Hungarian and international visitors alike. Siófok has entered the movement of Floral Hungary since its beginning. Thanks to the developments of the past fifteen years, it has become a town of parks and flowers by now.
Visitors can enjoy the pleasures of summer rest and recreation along the several-kilometre-long avenues of the Golden Shore and its large free beaches. Modern holiday homes, hotels and buildings are located along the Silver Beach offering holiday pleasures for many thousand people.

I came to the Czech Republic with my daughter and underwent a total of 6 treatments in Uherský Brod. I was pleasantly surprised from the start. I was given some refreshments and the chair was very comfortable. The doctor spoke with every patient during his shift. I basically didn’t have any problem with the language because I had a translator with me and the doctor spoke good English.
