In the winter – or in the summer – you can visit the Orlické Hory mountains and use Ústí nad Orlicí, the city which is the location of one of our dialysis centres, as a starting point.

Place description

This city, located in the Podorlicko region, is nested in a picturesque valley at the confluence of the Tichá Orlice and Třebovka Rivers. Its founding dates back to roughly the second half of the 13th century. In 1991, the historical centre of the city – with its nearly perfect square-shaped town square with its covered arcades and period buildings – was designated a historically protected urban zone. You can spend your holiday actively, to the Orlické Mountains is only 30 km, or sightseeing, we recommend particularly the chateau castle Litomyšl.

Litomyšl Chateau - Built in the second half of the 16th century, the chateau is one of the most important Renaissance era landmarks in the Czech Republic. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The chateau is located 18 kilometres from Ústí nad Orlicí.

Říčky and Čenkovice Ski Resort in Orlické hory

Lake Pastviny - This manmade lake is located about 25 kilometres from Ústí nad Orlicí and, in the summer, it is a popular recreation and fishing spot
