Dialysis centre in Uhersky Brod is located in beautiful environment of the area called Slovácko in the south-eastern part of the Czech Republic. The dialysis ward is on the fifth floor of the hospital, so there is nice view of the countryside.
Uherský Brod is a town located approximately 23 kilometres from the Slovakian border, in the foothills of the White Carpathians. The area is a protected landscape area, designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1996. You will be greeted with breathtaking natural scenery and rare indigenous flora and fauna.

The high school of J. A. Komensky - the first class was opened here at the beginning of school year 1896-1897. In this place stood the school which the young Jan attended. Jan Amos Komensky was a teacher, educator, and writer, he is often considered the father of modern education, he lived and worked in many different countries in Europe.
White Carpathians Protected Landscape Area - a UNESCO biosphere reserve since 1996
Luhačovice - One of the country‘s most popular spa resorts, located about 12 kilometres from Uhersky Brod. The local spa treatments have a 300 year tradition. The town has 17 natural mineral springs, which are used for drinking, inhalation therapy and bath treatments.
Vlčnov - This town, famous for its wine making traditions, is often referred to as the ‚Pearl of Moravian Slovakia‘. Located on the outskirts of the town are forty-one historically protected buildings. They are ground clay, brick and timber mills called "Búdy", accompanied by wine chapel coming from 18th to 20th centuries. This is the largest historically protected group of wine making establishments in the Czech Republic.
Velehrad - One of the country‘s best known pilgrimage sites, which is closely tied to the Slavic tradition of Saints Cyril and Methodius. Not far from the place you can visit the open-air archaeological museum Modra

All are equipped with TV and private facilities. There is one kitchenette for all apartments where you can prepare your own meals. There is also the possibility to use for catering the restaurant about 100 meters from dialysis.

I have a brother in Slovakia near Zvolen and we wanted to spend a week there during the summer. Thanks to holiday dialysis, we ended staying for the whole month, and we’ve already got plans to come back next year. For me, it’s like a vacation by the sea, but maybe even better.
