The Smile for Life Project
30. 09. 2009It is said that smiles heal. While the best professional care is certainly the most important factor in treating the sick, every physician can tell you from personal experiences that the best results are achieved in patients who remain optimistic and are able to keep their spirits up in spite of their stressful situation.
That is one reason why B. Braun has decided to support programs which bring smiles to the sick. In 2009 it was Zdravotní klaun (Clown Care). Smile for Life is the latest project to receive assistance from B. Braun’s corporate responsibility program, joining others such as support for children in India, an initiative for leukemia patients in Belgium, or help for children with AIDS in South Africa.
